Difference between VND Hosted Exchange and Office 365 Exchange and Apps.
If you are planning in moving to Microsoft Exchange to enjoy all Synchronization features with mobile devices, desktops, collaboration and more, then you must know a few key points that will help you make the right decision. This article describes 3 options to get you started:
-Microsoft-VND Hosted Exchange: Includes Advanced Spam filtering and all features for Outlook collaboration and synchronization along with a free download of Microsoft Outlook Client for $8.50/mo. per mailbox and $6/mo/Domain. This package does not come with Microsoft Office Apps but includes our premium free support for desktop Outlook and delivery issues. However if you have several email mailboxes, and only want exchange collaboration features only on a few, we can setup those others accounts on a $2/mo. Exchange IMAP type account. For example you have 10 mailboxes and only want to enable Exchange full features on 2 then we can setup 2 accounts at Hosted Exchange 8.50/mo/user and the rest will be at Exchange IMAP only for $2/mo/user.
-Microsoft 365 Business Standard: Includes Microsoft Exchange features of collaboration plus Office Apps such Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access and a basic Spam filter by Microsoft for $15/month/mailbox. Support is through Microsoft email ticket system only at this time. It additionally comes OneDrive (1TB storage) and Teams(online calls only such as Skype)
-Microsoft 365 Apps: For $10/month/user it includes all Office Apps such Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access but does not include Exchange Business email and collaboration. It additionally comes OneDrive (1TB storage) and Teams(online calls only such as Skype)
Microsoft includes more packages to chose from and more features as needed however these packages explained have the basic features most business use. But they dont include backup and that will have to be configured separately
